Mike Best's Meat Market, Smokehouse, & Deli has been in operation since 1954. The Current owners, Bill & Sharon Webb, bought the Meat Market in April of 1999. Since then, they have continuously strived to expand the store and services offered here, while maintaining the quality that Mike Best's is known for. In December of 2009, we opened a new, larger location in the Westport Village Shopping Center. The larger facilities at our Westport Village store have allowed us to expand our selection of gourmet food items, groceries (including many unique Kentucky-Made products), and services to better serve our customers, while still offering old favorites, homemade sausages, homemade soups, and our cut to order butcher shop.

Our Homemade BEEF JERKY has been featured in Louisville Magazine! It's available in regular and hot varieties. We also make our own CAJUN TASSO, a highly seasoned smoked pork, perfect for adding to your own Cajun or Creole dishes.

Mike Best's is more than just a meat market, though. We offer extensive variety of GOURMET TO GO dishes that will make dinner a snap. All are fully cooked, and merely require heating.
